The Role:
This role reports to the Division Manager

The Section Manager assists the Maintenance Division Manager in his responsibilities.
Supervise and mentor the less experienced engineers in the section.
Responsible for directing Deputy Section Manager, planners, supervisors, TA staff and other staff in the safe, reliable, environmentally sound and efficient execution of maintenance work.
Ensure compliance with labor agreement, safety/environmental and work standards, code of conduct and individual performance expectations for both contractors and employees.
Identify training needs of staff and perform administrative duties associated with responsibilities.
Oversee activities in the assigned area providing work direction including warehouse and maintenance work shop.
Guide, direct and motivate subordinates including the setting of performance standards and assessing training needs in association with the Human Resources Section.
Provide an efficient integrated auditing system aimed at ensuring adherence to company policy, as well as to continuously identify possible system and performance improvements. Set sectional objectives, policies, and strategic procedures and programs.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

Experience required 10 years in oil refinery with maintenance activities, and engaged in actual field operation for 2 years which includes not only routine operation but also trouble-shooting, trial operation, preparation for daily and turnaround maintenance and so on.


Passionate dedication to maintaining safe operations enforcing strict conformance with all government regulations, and applicable company procedures and policies.
Strong decision making abilities under pressure and innovative to generate new ideas. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to teach skills to freshmen and exhibit patience.
